First ODI is abandoned

The first ODI between England and the West Indies at Headingley had been abandoned due to rain.

The wash out occured despite an expensive new drainage system being installed at Headingley.

Eoin Morgan had been set to make his debut for England.

The remaining to games in the series are at Bristol on the 24th and at Edgbaston on the 26th.
